Which celebrity cannabis strains are fire and which suck?
Variety put a number of strains to the test and concluded that expectations should be low when it comes to celebrity brands

There’s certainly no shortage of celebrity-endorsed weed strains. But are they any good? Do the celebrities — most of whom have a long history of getting high — actually know what they are doing when it comes to growing good weed?
Variety recently put some of these strains to the test. They tested brands by Jenny Lewis, Bob Marley and Tommy Chong. The last one received a middling review. “This is totally acceptable for an 81-year-old,” wrote Dina Browner. “Call it AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) weed.”
Most of the expert judges agreed that expectations should be low when it comes to celebrity strains.
“There’s a difference between craft growers and commercial cannabis, and the latter is what most often appears as a celebrity brand,” notes Browner.
