The Toronto International Film Festival means lots of pot for Hollywood stars

Celebrities love the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
You know who else loves TIFF? Pot companies looking to sell their brand and cash in on some of the collateral fame that comes with all the celebrities in town.
While last year there were ads pushing cannabis brands everywhere at TIFF, this year it’s a bit more subdued. That’s because of Canadian ad rules restricting the promotion of cannabis. But that hasn’t stopped brands from engaging in some creative marijuana marketing.
According to the Growth Op, there have been joint-rolling stations and brands flying under the radar, showing up at the festival’s many social events.
Which is welcome news to a lot of the actors whose films are debuting this year and have been open about their cannabis use.
