The Ontario Cannabis Store, the Ontario government’s online weed retailer, is reportedly selling postal code data to Licensed Producers.
It’s the kind of data sale that has so far been unheard of in the cannabis world. And it raises massive security and privacy concerns.
Making the sale of customer data doubly concerning is the fact the Canadian government has warned people that their cannabis credit card purchases could get them in hot water with the U.S. border officials.
