As legal weed expands in North America, lots of people are figuring out how to re-write the rules.
The days of palming someone a tenner in exchange for a dime bag are, for the most part, gone in favour of more commercial transactions. But that raises all sorts of new questions about how to buy weed. One of them is whether you should tip your budtender.
“One of the things a new customer might notice while browsing the display cases in a dispensary is the presence of tip jars,” writes Mike Adams, in The Fresh Toast.
Adams notes that the trend “started to take shape around a decade ago when medical marijuana was first beginning to build momentum across the country. But now they seem to be turning up more in both the medical and recreational sectors.” What’s your take?
