There has been a flurry of news about cannabis legalization in the United States.

While South Dakota and Wisconsin are moving towards legalization of medical marijuana, Pennsylvania is signaling a move towards full legalization of recreational cannabis.

On Wednesday, the state’s governor Tom Wolf held a press conference declaring his support for the idea.

“I said in the past that I didn’t know if Pennsylvania was ready for this,” Wolf said. “I believe Pennsylvania is ready for this.”

This of course had state Republicans whining. Some people just gotta be wet blankets on everything. But a recent 93-day tour of the state by Wolf’s Lieutenant Governor found that more than two-thirds of the state supports the idea.
