Cannabis coffee shops have made Amsterdam famous. But outside of a handful of Canadian cities, the idea has yet to catch fire in North America. That’s about to change.
The first batch of legal cannabis restaurants and cafes are starting to open in California. And one of them counts American singer and songwriter Miley Cyrus as an investor.
Cyrus is an investor in Lowell Cafe in West Hollywood. The place serves infused food, juices, and smoothies. And it’s run by the cannabis company Lowell Herb Co., which specializes in selling pre-rolls.
Could cannabis cafes and restaurants catch on across North America? Many are watching what’s happening with California’s experiment.
