BHO is an acronym for butanehashoil. Butanehashoil is a type of marijuanaconcentrate that is created through extracting cannabinoids and terpenes from marijuanaflowers using pressure, heat, and butane. Sometimes BHO is referred to as butane honey oil because of its consistency and color. This color is of a yellow and gold hue because of the purging of butane. There are quite a few different types of BHO, but many of them are all similar when you are looking at the content, process, and final result. The many different types of BHO are a result of the heat and humidity. Shatter, pull/snap, crumble, budder, wax, sap, and oil are some of the various types, each with its own consistency, texture, and color.
Beginners should not attempt to try and extractBHO without knowing the consequences. People have been injured and have even died trying to do this without knowledge on the subject. The extraction uses butane, which is an extremely flammable gas. Adding another risk into the mix is that part of the extraction is done over a stove.
BHO captures and focuses on the THC molecules and terpenes, and this is what makes it very strong. The user can vape some types of BHO, but ones like shatter are difficult to be used in vapes. You should not use BHO for edibles because of the risks of consuming butane and the risk of poisoning it poses. Butane must be completely extracted before consuming BHO. If BHO is done at a very high temperature, it can sort of taste like rubber. There is also a risk of cancer if BHO is dabbed at extremely high temperatures because of the carcinogens involved.

I’m going to try and make some BHO today, so wish me luck.
